Macrovision Buys Muze
Santa Clara-based Macrovision said Wednesday afternoon that it has agreed to acquire "substantially all" of the asset of New York-based Muze, Inc. Muze is a provider of databases of music, books, games, and videos. Macrovision said it will pay $16.5M in cash for Muze's assets. Macrovision also said that it will add approximately $5M to its 2009 revenue estimates due to the acquisition.
