3PAR Names Engineering VP
Fremont-based storage provider 3PAR said Thursday that the firm has appointed Peter Slocum as Vice President of Engineering for the firm. Slocum joins the company from ViVOtech, where he was SVP of Engineering. Slocum has also served at Brocade Communications, Octel Communications, as well as Silicon Graphics, MIPS Computer Systems, and Hewlett-Packard. 3PAR's former VP of Engineering, founder Jeff Price, will become CTO for System Design; 3PAR co-founder Ashok Singal continues as CTO System Architecture.
