Trion World Network Ties With Game Studio
Redwood City-based Trion World Network, a developer of online games, said today that the firm has inked a deal with game development sudio Petroglyph. Trion said Petroglyph will use its tools to create a massively multiplayer, online real-time strategy game. Name of the title or financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Trion is venture backed by Act II Capital, Time Warner, Peacock Equity, Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments, Rustic Canyon, DCM and Trinity Ventures.
