Vobile Finds President
Vobile, a Santa Clara-based provider of video content identification and management services, reported today that it has hired Lawrence R. Meli as president and chief revenue officer. Vobile described Meli as a cable television industry veteran who will help the company expand into the television and cable-programming markets. Vobile said Meli hails from the AmericanLife TV Network, where he served as president and chief operating officer. Before that, Vobile said, he was senior vice president for National Geographic Channels Worldwide. Founded in 2005, Vobile also maintains offices in China and the United Kingdom.
