Solyndra reports today that it has signed a $115, long term sales contract with a European solar integrator. According to Solyndar, the deal is with solar integration firm EBITSCHenergietechnik, which is based in Zapfendorf, Germany. The firm said it will be manufacturing panels for the contract in Fremont and Milpitas. Solyndra is a manufacturer of panels and hardware for commercial photovoltaic installations. The firm is venture backed by Argonaut Private Equity, CMEA, Artis, Madrone Capital Partners, Masdar, Redpoint Ventures, USVP, Rockport Capital, and Virgin Green Fund.
