Mark Logic Raises $12.5M
San Carlos-based Mark Logic, a developer of XML content servers, said today that it has raised $12.5M in a financing round. The firm said the round was led by Sequoia Capital, and also included participation from Tenaya Capital. The funding will go towards sales channels, international expansion, and to approach new verticals. Mark Logic's products are used to accelerating delivery of XML documents. The firm did not disclose the round, however, the firm previously raised $15M in a Series C in July of 2007.
