Plastic Jungle Gets $4.8M
Clovis, California-based Platic Jungle, which operates a web site for selling, buying, and exchanging gifts cards, said this morning that it has raised $4.8M in a Series A funding. The firm--which is based near Fresno--said the round was led by Shasta Ventures, and included investments from Bay Partners, First Round Capital, and Harrison Metal. Plastic Jungle said that Tod Francis of Shasta and Josh Kopelman of First Round Capital join the board along with the funding.
