Zynga Announces Five Executive Hires
Social games developer Zynga reported today that it has made numerous additions to its executive roster. The San Francisco-based firm said it has hired Reggie Davis as general counsel, Robert Goldberg as senior vice president of business operations, Vish Makhijani as senior vice president of casual and mobility, Colleen McCreary as chief people officer and Mike Verdu as vice president of game development. Zynga said Davis previously worked for Yahoo! as vice president of network and exchange operations. Goldberg, Zynga noted, hails from Idealab and NBCi, while Makhijani is the former chief executive of Yandex. McCreary held various human resources positions in her five years at Electronic Arts and Verdu most recently served as vice president and general manager of EA's Los Angeles office.
