Oracle Buys Assets From Conformia
Redwood Shores-based Oracle said late Wednesday that the firm has acquired the intellectual property assets of Conformia Software. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Conformia is a developer of product and process lifecycle management software, used for managing drug design, development, and production. Oracle said itw ill integrate Conformia's product and technology into its Agile PLM solution. Conformia was based in Sunnyvale, and had raised funding from SAP, Sequoia Capital, and Jafco, among others.
