Amalfi Semiconductor Raises $24M
Los Gatos-based Amalfi Semiconductor, which develops CMOS radio and mixed-signal semiconductors, announced today that it has raised $24M in a Series C funding round. The round was led by Battery Ventures, and also included DCM, Globespan Capital Partners and Trinity Ventures. Battery's Ken Lawler joins the board with the funding. Amalfi said the funding will go towards supporting growth, including expanded product development and marketing efforts. Amalfi last raised a round of funding back in February of 2006.
