Sungevity Raises $6M
Berkeley-based Sungevity, which operates a web site that helps find residential solar leads, disclosed today that the firm has raised $6M in additional funding. The round was led by Greener Capital. Along with the funding, the firm also said it has appointed a CFO, COO, and VP of Technology and Product Development. Charles Ferer, most recently CFO of SolarCity, joins the firm as CFO; Daphne Li, who has served at ADp, Apple, and DoveBid, has been appointed as COO; and Ariel Tseitlin, most recently at CTOWorks, and who has served at Playboox, Oracle, and Sieble, is the firm's new VP of Technology and Product Development.
