Causata Gains $4.5M
San Francisco-based Causata, a developer of software for optimizing sales channels, said today that it has raised $4.5M in a Series A round. The round came from Aceel Partners. Causata is headed by former TouchClarity founder Paul Phillips. The firm said its software enables companies to "optimize customer experience and business results." A regulatory filing indicates the round actually came in April.
