Direct Flow Medical, a developer of aortic tissue value prothesis, has scored $40M in a venture funding round, according to a regulatory filing by the firm. No details on the funding have been announced by the company. The round bring's the firm's total raised to around $75.45M in three rounds. Direct Flow is venture backed by EDF Ventures, ePlanet Ventures, Foundation Medical Partners, J&J Development Corporation, New Leaf Venture Partners, Spray Venture Partners, and VantagePoint Venture Partners.
