Oracle Buys IP Media Management Software Firm
Redwood Shores-based Oracle reported Monday that it has acquired Sophoi, a maker of intellectual property media management software used by entertainment and media firms. Terms of the buy were not disclosed. Sophoi's management and employees are expected to become part of its Communications Global Business Unit. Oracle purchased Sophoi out of bankruptcy.
