Watercooler, a developer of social games on Facebook, said today that the firm has raised $5.5M in a Series B funding round. The round came from strategic investor Betfair, an online site focused on betting. Watercooler said the funding also included participation from existing investor Canaan Partners. Gerard Cunningham of Betfair joins the company's board along with the funding. The company said it is using the new funding to further develop its fantasy sports and social games.
