Vdopia Confirms $4M Fundraising
Palo Alto-based Vdpoia, a developer of video advertising products for the Apple iPhone, announced this morning that it has raised $4M in a Series A funding round from Nexus Venture Partners. The funding had been uncovered earlier this month by this publication. According to Vdopia, it has appointed Rohit Sharma as its president and CEO along with the funding. Sharma was most recently at Mohr, Davidow Ventures, and also has served at ONI Systems and other firms. Suvir Sujan, co-founder of Nexus Venture Partners, sits on the firm's board.
