Innovalight, which is developing silicon ink-based printing technology for the photovoltaic solar cell market, said this morning that it has raised $18M in a Series D funding round. According to the company, the round was led by Singapore's EDB Investment, and also included Vertex Venture Holdings, Apax Partners, ARCH Venture Partners, Convexa Capital, Harris & Harris Group, Sevin Rosen Funds and Triton Ventures. The new funding comes on top of $45M in earlier funding. The company said the new funding will go to expand its production of its products.
