LensVector Adds Foxconn, UMC To Funding Round

reported Thursday that it has added Foxconn and UMC as investors in the firm's recent, $30M Series C funding round. The firm also said that Translink Capital and Harbor Pacific have also joined in the funding. The funding brings the company's total raised to more than $50M. LensVector is developing solid state, optical components for camera phones and other mobile devices; the firm's solid-state technology provides autofocus and other capability without requiring expensive and fragile mechanical devices.
