Cyanogen Grabs Investment From Foxconn
Palo Alto-based Cyanogen, the developer of the alternative, Android OS distribution, said Tuesday that it has received a strategic investment from contract manufacturer Foxconn, as part of its Series C funding. Size of the investment were not disclosed. Cyanogen said the investment will go to further its efforts to create a "more open, level playing field" for third party developers. Cyanogen says it has now raised $110 million in funding.
