Google Open Sources reMail
San Francisco-based reMail, the email search startup which was just acquired by Google in February, said Friday that it has decided to open source the code for the firm's product. reMail said that it has decided to make the reMail iPhone application--which is no longer available in the App Store--available via Google Code, under the Apache 2.0 License. reMail was backed by YCombinator. reMail's product team has moved on to Google's Gmail team.
