Lucid Imagination Raises $10M
San Mateo-based Lucid Imagination, which develops commercial solutions around the Apche Lucene and Apache Solr search technology, announced today that it has raised $10M in a Series B funding round. The round came from Shasta Ventures, along with prior investors Granite Ventures and Walden International. Lucid Imagination is headed by Eric Gries. Lucid's software is used for full text searching. The firm has also previously scored capital from In-Q-Tel, the CIA's venture capital arm.
