BrightEdge Gains $6.5M
Foster City-based BrightEdge, a developer of search engine optimization (SEO) management software, said today that it has raised $6.5M in additional funding for the firm. The round was led by Battery Ventures, and also included Altos Ventures and Illuminate Ventures. BrightEdge said it would used the funding to expand in he market, as well as to expand its engineering and operations. Battery's Satya Patel joins the company's board along with the funding.
