BrightEdge Picks Up $12.6M
San Mateo-based BrightEdge, a developer of enterprise, search engine optimization (SEO) software and tools, reported yesterday that it has raised $12.6M in a Series C funding round. The round was led by Intel Capital, and also included prior investors Battery Ventures, Altos Ventures and Illuminate Ventures. The firm said it will use the new funds for market and company expansion, opening up new offices in New York and London, and with plans to double its headcount this year. BrightEdge is run by Jim Yu.
