Stitcher Connects With $6M
San Francisco-based Stitcher, which operates a customized talk radio service for mobile devices, said today that it has raised $6M in a Series B venture funding round. The round was led by Benchmark Capital, and also included New Atlantic Ventures, and angels Ed Scott and Ron Conway. As part of the funding, Bob Kagle of Benchmark joins the firm's board. Stitcher's service allows users to create personalized radio stations featuring news and talk radio shows, which they can download to their mobile devices.
