Los Altos-based IronKey, a developer of authentication and encryption software and services, said Wednesday that it has raised $22M in a new funding round led by Bridgescale Partners. The funding also included prior investors Mohr Davidow Ventures and Crosslink Capital. According to IronKey, Matthew Cowan of Bridgescale joins the firm's board as part of the funding. IronKey said it is specifically looking to use the funding to address the desktop virtualization market.
