SolarCity Buys Building Solutions
Foster City-based SolarCity, a provider of power purchase agreements (PPA) and financing for solar panel installation, said Wednesday that it has acquired Building Solutions, a provider of energy efficiency services and technology. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. SolarCity said the asset acquisition will allow SolarCity to roll out services such as home energy evaluation, duct and buildling envelope sealing, and heating, cooling and lighting installation services.
