Yahoo Buys Associated Content
Sunnyvale-based Yahoo said Tuesday afternoon that it has acquired Associated Content, a crowdsourced content publishing firm which develops Internet articles. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Yahoo said it would use the acquisition to extend its ability to create high quality, personally relevant content for its users and advertisers. Associated Content was founded by Luke Beatty, and funded by Angel Investors LP, Canaan Partners, and SoftBank Capital.
