San Jose-based
Mirics, a developer of software-based, broadcast TV reception technology, said today that it has raised $13.0M in funding. The firm said the round came from existing investors Acacia Capital Partners, Intel Capital, and Pond VEntures. The firm, which makes software-based decoding technology for integrating into notebooks, netbooks, and desktop PCs, said the funding will go towards growing market share for its product.
