Intel Backs Mirics
Intel Capital is among the venture investors re-investing in Mirics Semiconductor, a UK-based firm developing semiconductors for the RF market, Mirics said Monday. Mirics announced that it has raised $7M in funding, from Acacia Capital Partners, intel Capital, and Pond Venture Partners, on top of an earlier $12M Series B funding round. Intel's involvement in the firm was headed by Marcos Battisti, Mobility Sector Director at Intel Capital.
