Sonatype, a developer of applications for managing the open source Maven Java project and build management software, has raised $10M in a funding, according to a regulatory filing by the firm today. Details of the funding were not announced, however, the firm now lists Accel Partners, Morgenthaler Partners, and Hummer Winblad Equity Partners as shareholders. Accel's Sameer Gandhi, Morgenthaler's Paul Levin, and Hummer Winblad's Ann Winblad are all now on the firm's board of directors. Sonatype was founded by Jason van Zyl, who also founded the Apache Maven project.
