PlaySpan Gets $18M
Santa Clara-based PlaySpan announced today that it has raised $18M in a Series C funding. The round was led by Vodafone Ventures and Softbank Bodhi Fund, and also included prior investors Menlo Ventures, Novel TMT Ventures, STIC, and others. The firm, which sells digital goods and games, said the funding brings its total raised to $42M. The firm said the funding will go towards expansion in Europe and Asia.
