Atlantis Computing Lands $10M
Mountain View-based Atlantis Computing, a developer of appliances used for managing virtual desktop (VDI) I/O and storage, said today that it has raised $10M in a Series C funding round. The round was led by Partech International, El Dorado Ventures and Cisco Systems Inc. According to the firm, the new funding will go towards sales growth, marketing, and international expansion. Atlantis develops an appliance which offloades Windows I/O intensive operations from VDI storage, which it says provides more storage options and boosts desktop performance.
