StorSimple, a provider of a storage appliance for connecting to cloud storage, has raised $13M in a Series B funding round, according to the firm. The funding came from Mayfield, and also included Ignition Partners, Index Ventures, and Redpoint Ventures. The round brings the firm's total raised to $21.0M, including an earlier $8.0M funding round. StorSimple said the funding will be used to expand sales, support and product operations. The firm's storage appliance helps integrate cloud storage into the enterprise. The company is headed by Ursheet Parikh.
