Calix Acquires Occam Networks
Petaluma-based Calix said this morning that it has acquired Occam Networks, a Santa Barbara, California-based manufacturer of broadband equipment. The deal is worth approximately $7.75 per share in cash and stock, or roughly $171M. Calix said that the buy would help the firm accelerate its rate of innovation.
