ClairMail Gets $13.8M
San Rafael-based ClairMail, a developer of mobile banking and payment products, said today that it has raised $13.8M in what it describes as a "late stage" round of funding. The round was led by Investor Growth Capital, and also came from existing investors JAFCO Ventures, Northwest Venture Partners and Outlook Ventures. The firm said the new round will go toward growing its technology infrastructure and services. A regulatory filing from earlier this year indicates the round actually closed in May.
