Clairmail Acquired By Monitise For $173M
San Rafael-based Clairmail, the developer of mobile banking and payment software, has been acquired by UK-basd Monitise plc, Monitise said over the weekend. The deal is worth approximately $173.2M in an all-stock share purchase. Clairmail was venture backed by Investor Growth Capital Ltd., JAFCO American Ventures, Norwest Venture Partners, and Outlook Ventures.
