McKesson Buys US Oncology
San Francisco-based healthcare services and IT firm McKesson Corporation said today that it is buying Texas-based US Oncology, an operator of cancer treatment centers. The deal is worth $2.16 billion in cash. McKesson said that the oncology industry is one of the fastest growing segments in healthcare.
