Gazillion Raises $60M
San Mateo-based Gazillion Entertainment, a publisher of massively multiplayer online games, said today that it has raised $60M in a new investment round. The round came from Temasek Holdings, as well as Oak Investments, Hearst Corporation, Revolution Ventures, Pelion Ventures, and the Abu Dhabi Media Company. Gazillion is headed by Rob Hutter. Gazillion operates Super Hero Squad Online, an MMO licensed under a deal with Marvel Entertainment.
