Altius Education Gets $18.6M For Online College Efforts
San Francisco-based Altius Education, which offers an online associate's degree through Ivy Bridge College, said today that it has raised $18.6M in a Series B funding round. The round was led by Charles River Ventures, and also included Maveron and Spark Capital. Altius runs Ivy Bridge College in a joint venture with Tiffin University, providing a two-year online associate's degree. The firm said the funding will go to continue the growth of its programs and to expand partnerships in its network.
