Black Friday Sales Hit $648M
E-commerce sales on Black Friday hit $648M, up 9 percent from last year, according to the latest numbers from comScore. comScore also reported overall holiday says, measured from November 1st through November 26th, are up 13 percent versus the same days last year, with a total of $11.64 billion being spent online in the season. Totals were helped this year by an 28 percent increase in Thanksgiving Day sales, which rose to $407M.
