Google said today that it has added email continuity services for its enterprise customers, as part of an extension of the Google Postini service. According to Google, the new offering--Google Message Continuity--is a cloud-based service which will ensure that organizations can access their email, even in the case of a server outage. The new service replicated email accounts hosted on Microsoft Exchange Server, and allows users to access that mail even if Exchange Server fails or requires maintenance or downtime. Pricing on the new service was not announced.
