Chip Path Design Systems Snags $3M
Cupertino-based Chip Path Design Systems, a developer of electronic design automation (EDA) tools for the semiconductor industry, said today that it has raised $3M in a Series A venture round. The round came from Scientific Ventures, Lanza techVentures, and Xilinx Corporation. According to Chip Path, it is focused on revolutionizing how companies design ICs. Mark Templeton of Scientific Ventures and Lucio Lanza of Lanza techVentures join the board as part of the funding.
