Cloud Engines Raises $15M
San Francisco-based Cloud Engines, maker of the Pogoplug cloud storage device and service, said today that it has raised $15M in a new funding. The round came from Softbank Capital and Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners (AIP). Existing backer Foundry Group also participated. Cloud Engines said the new funding will go towards global distribution of its serviec and device. Cloud Engines is headed by Daniel Putterman.
