SolarCity Acquires Maryland Firm
San Mateo-based SolarCity, a provider of solar leasing programs and solar power installation services, said today that it has acquired Clean Currents Solar, a solar installer serving Maryland and the District of Columbia. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. SolarCity said it acquired Clean Currents Solar form parent firm Clean Current LLC, where it takes a minority ownership stake.
