Smaato Snares $7M
Redwood Shores-based Smaato, a provider of mobile advertising, said Wednesday that it has raised $7M in a new funding round. The round was led by Singapore's EDBI, and also included aeris Capital. Smaato said the new funding will go towards international expansion, particuarly in Asia. Smaato's serviecs are used to monetize mobile content. The firm is headed by Ragnar Kruse.
