The DealMap, the operator of a map mashup highlighting daily deals, is powering Microsoft's new Bing Deals service. According to Bing, Microsoft's search engine, it has launched Bing Deals to highlight daily deals from sites such as Groupon, LivingSocial, Restaurant.com, and others, and is tapping The DealMap to shortcut the availability of the service to users. Details of the deal between Microsoft and The DealMap were not announced. The DealMap was co-founed by Jennifer Dulski and Chandu Thota. Thota was previously the lead developer of Microsoft Virtual Earth.
