, a health technology firm developing a service which allows doctors to use their iPhone, iPad, or Android device to connect with other physicians on patient treatment and referrals, has raised $10.8M in a Series A funding. The funding came from
Emergence Capital Partners
and InterWest Partners. Doximetry is headed by
Jeff Tangney
, one of the founder of
Epocrates
. Tagney was an EIR at InterWest prior to starting Doximity.
