Doximity Connects To $10.8M
San Mateo-based Doximity, a health technology firm developing a service which allows doctors to use their iPhone, iPad, or Android device to connect with other physicians on patient treatment and referrals, has raised $10.8M in a Series A funding. The funding came from Emergence Capital Partners and InterWest Partners. Doximetry is headed by Jeff Tangney, one of the founder of Epocrates. Tagney was an EIR at InterWest prior to starting Doximity.
