Krillion Acquired By Local.com
Mountain View-based Krillion, a developer of local product search software and services, has been acquired by Local.com. According to Local.com, it paid $3.5M in cash for Krillion, which was venture backed by Hummer Winblad Venture Partners and Leapfrog Ventures. Krillion had raised at least $9.55M in funding since its founding in 2006. Sherry Thomas-Zon, Zillion's CEO, becomes Vice President, Local Shopping for Local.com.
