Nvidia Buys Icera
Santa Clara-based graphics card and semiconductor firm NVIDIA announced this morning that it is buying Icera, a developer of baseband processors for the 3G and 4G cell phone and tablet market. The deal is worth $367 million in cash. Icera was based in Bristol, UK.
