, the developer of a mobile credit card reader and application, has raised $100M in a Series C financing. The firm said the funding was led by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, and also included Tiger Global Management. Square allows users to scan credit cards using their iPhone, iPad, or Android devices, serving as a point of sale system for businesses. The firm is led by Jack Dorsey. Mark Meeker of KPCB joins the company's board as part of the funding.
